Client-Side Construction Manager – Residential & PBSA

CKC Properties is an established developer of residential and student accommodation projects across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Client-Side Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality developments, including Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Co-Living, affordable housing, and private sale schemes.

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022. You will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring compliance, quality, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of residential and PBSA projects, ensuring alignment with programme, budget, and quality standards
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across internal teams, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies
  • Oversee construction programmes, valuations, and cost control measures
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act 2022, including gateway processes and duty holder responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate technical reviews, design development, and value engineering
  • Produce clear, data-driven reports for senior management

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in client-side construction management
  • Proven track record in residential and PBSA delivery
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and the Building Safety Act
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. MCIOB, RICS, PMP) preferred
