About the Role

As our Sous Chef, you'll be the Head Chef's right hand, playing a pivotal role in daily kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and motivating the kitchen brigade in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Overseeing and participating in all aspects of food preparation, ensuring impeccable standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Managing kitchen inventory, controlling costs, and minimizing waste.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a highly accomplished Junior Sous Chef in a reputable, fast-paced restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • Exceptional culinary skills across various sections, with a passion for quality ingredients.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of inspiring and managing a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • A solid understanding of kitchen financials and stock management.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and advanced Food Hygiene certifications are essential.
