Role –
We are seeking a
Salesforce Release Manager
with strong governance experience to oversee controlled deployment processes, environment strategy, and release calendar management across complex Salesforce estates. You will work closely with delivery teams, testers, product owners, and change governance bodies by ensuring safe, compliant, and predictable releases into production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the
    Salesforce release calendar
    , ensuring alignment across business units.
  • Lead
    release readiness
    and planning sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Govern change processes to ensure
    compliance, auditability, and traceability.
  • Own the
    end-to-end deployment cycle
    across multiple environments (SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod).
  • Oversee
    sandbox refresh
    ,
    data masking
    , and secure environment usage strategies.
  • Drive
    DevOps and CI/CD adoption
    using tools such as GitHub Actions, Copado, and Gearset.
  • Provide
    risk visibility
    and mitigation plans for release candidates.
  • Maintain
    deployment controls
    , rollback plans, and change approvals.
  • Act as central coordination point during go-lives and post-deployment verification.
  • Identify opportunities to
    streamline release processes
    and automate workflows.

Key Skills:

  • Proven Salesforce
    release management
    background within a
    regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Salesforce deployments
    , metadata APIs, and version control.
  • Strong understanding of
    scratch orgs, sandbox strategy, and production controls.
  • Familiar with
    GDPR / security controls
    around Salesforce data handling.
  • Experience working with
    Agile and ITIL change processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication — able to challenge, influence, and negotiate when required.

Desirable Skills

  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
  • Previous experience with
    Salesforce DevOps tooling.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow change management.
  • Experience reporting risk and governance outcomes to senior stakeholders.
