*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The Nursery Practitioner will be responsible for supporting the development of each child through engaging activities, effective communication, and strong leadership skills. *Duties* - Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. - Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met. - Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. - Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment that adheres to health and safety regulations. - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. - Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging children's social skills. *Requirements* - A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. - Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred. - Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. - Ability to drive initiatives that support children's development and well-being. - Leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. - A genuine passion for childcare and early years education. - Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
