Head Housekeeper – Hours per Week, Mornings)

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Head Housekeeper to join our team at a charming hotel featuring 14/15 bedrooms, restaurant/bar, private rooms, and a Pavilion where we host large events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all bedrooms, public areas, and event spaces are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
  • Oversee daily cleaning tasks and support the housekeeping team
  • Communicate effectively with all heads of departments
  • Ensure all supply orders are placed in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all areas, including the restaurant, bar, and Pavilion
  • Ensure all cleaning duties comply with health and safety guidelines
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all issues are promptly rectified and verify completed work
  • Manage the housekeeping team with a friendly, "can-do" approach

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in housekeeping is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly and proactive attitude in managing the housekeeping team
  • Flexible, reliable, and positive demeanor

Hours: 20-35 hours per week, mornings
