Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled investigator to join our Special Investigations Team.

As part of this small specialised team, you will support the identification of new potential insider risks or whistleblowing referrals, and conduct thorough investigations into allegations of serious misconduct involving our employees, suppliers, or intermediaries.

Your investigations will be conducted ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures working closely with internal HR, Legal and Compliance teams to identify and address potential risks.

This dynamic and varied role requires someone who is resilient, flexible and an effective communicator.

This role is based in Bournemouth; however, applications will be considered from candidates located at any of our UK sites and can also be home-based (with travel as required).

Salary Information:

Pay: Circa £42000

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

 About You:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of investigations efficiently and effectively.
  • Undertaking detailed investigations in to allegations of serious misconduct including securing witnesses statements, preserving evidence and carrying out employee fact find meetings,  
  • Maintaining comprehensive investigation logs ensuring all actions and rationales are properly documented in case of law enforcement and/or regulator referral.
  • Assessing investigation findings and producing detailed investigation reports with recommended actions.
  • Identifying control gaps and process failures making recommendations for improvement to mitigate fraud and financial crime risks.
  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including HR, Compliance and Data Protection teams.
  • Supporting Fraud awareness initiatives through presentations and roadshows.
