Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Painter and Decorator located in St Albans The role involves performing day-to-day painting and decorating tasks to maintain and enhance the hotel's interior and exterior aesthetics. Key responsibilities include preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, repairing minor damages, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and working collaboratively with other team members to uphold the luxury standards of Sopwell House.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Paint, Painting, and Decorating to a high standard
  • Experience with Coatings, Spray Painting, and various painting techniques
  • Attention to detail and precision in finishing work
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality or similar environments is beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to painting and decorating
