  • We are currently recruiting Mobile Cleaning Operatives for an immediate start. This is a full-time, permanent role with 37.5 hours per week, with additional hours often available.
  • You will cover cleaning duties at client sites when regular operatives are on leave or absent. Tasks include all aspects of commercial cleaning and occasional domestic cleaning. You will also deliver stock and consumables to sites and carry out other related duties as needed.
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • As a Commercial Mobile Cleaner, your duties will include:
  • Travel to Various Commercial Sites
  • Move between different businesses or commercial premises to provide cleaning services on a scheduled basis.
  • Perform Commercial Cleaning Tasks
  • Clean office spaces, sanitise restrooms, clean kitchens or break rooms, sweep, mop, vacuum, polish floors, clean glass surfaces and dust office equipment.
  • Specialised Cleaning Duties
  • Conduct deep cleaning such as carpet steam cleaning and floor waxing; clean industrial or warehouse areas; handle waste disposal and recycling according to guidelines.
  • Use of Commercial Cleaning Equipment
  • Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, industrial vacuums, pressure washers, and use professional-grade cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Follow Health, Safety & Compliance Standards
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, use PPE, and ensure environmental and safety standards are met.
  • Maintain Cleaning Supplies and Equipment
  • Manage inventory, maintain equipment, and report faults or needs for replacement.
  • Time and Schedule Management
  • Work efficiently within set time frames, often outside normal business hours, coordinating with site managers to minimise disruption.

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be confident driving manual transmission vehicles

  • Flexible with working hours – this is not a 9–5 role
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
  • Good verbal and written understanding of English
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential (training provided)
  • Must be able to use u-Attend app to sign in/out of sites for payroll

  • Minimum of 37.5 hours per week
  • Some work is during evenings and nights
  • Some early mornings, daytime, and weekend work may also be required
  • Travel
  • This role is based from our Gloucester office (Goodridge Business Park) and involves travel to sites across Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.
