An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Senior Procurement Officer
to join a large, multi-entity organisation supporting high-value, complex procurement projects across a diverse portfolio of goods, works, and services.

You'll play a key role in managing procurement activity, leading a small team, and ensuring best value and compliance across all purchasing operations. This is a great opportunity for a commercially aware procurement professional who thrives in a structured, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and deliver end-to-end procurement activity across multiple categories
  • Manage and support a small team of procurement professionals
  • Lead on the preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of high-value tenders and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with procurement legislation and internal governance standards
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on best practice and contract management
  • Support performance reporting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive value and efficiency

About You:

  • CIPS qualified (or working towards)
  • Strong track record managing high-value or complex procurement projects
  • Line management or supervisory experience
  • Solid understanding of procurement law and commercial contract terms
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and external partners
