Job Title: Network Engineer (Junior–Mid Level)

Location: Hybrid / London

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Network Engineer (Junior–Mid Level) to join our delivery team. The role will focus on campus wired and wireless deployments using Aruba and Juniper technologies. You will support senior consultants during delivery, carry out discovery activities, and work directly on customer deployments. This position requires regular travel to customer sites and is well suited to a self-starter who is looking to grow their skills and develop into a more senior engineering position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the delivery of campus wired and wireless network solutions using Aruba and Juniper products.
  • Conduct on-site discovery exercises, documenting existing environments and requirements.
  • Support senior network consultants in the design, deployment, and validation phases of customer projects.
  • Carry out installations, configurations, and troubleshooting of network equipment.
  • Produce accurate technical documentation, reports, and site records.
  • Provide post-deployment support and assist with snagging or issue resolution.
  • Maintain a professional approach when representing the company at customer sites.
  • Demonstrate initiative, taking ownership of tasks and proactively seeking opportunities for development.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years' experience in network engineering roles (or equivalent demonstrable skills).
  • Knowledge of campus networking technologies (wired and wireless).
  • Exposure to Aruba (switching and wireless) and/or Juniper (EX, Mist, or related) solutions.
  • Basic understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, wireless LAN fundamentals, and network security principles.
  • Experience in on-site deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills & Certifications

  • Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA) or Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA).
  • Juniper JNCIA or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Aruba ClearPass (NAC).
  • Familiarity with Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM).
  • Awareness of SASE solutions, particularly Cato Networks.
  • Exposure to firewall technologies such as Palo Alto.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven networking platforms such as Juniper Mist.
  • Experience with network discovery and assessment tools.
  • Exposure to customer-facing consultancy environments.
