We're working with a leading real estate capital advisory firm in London that specialises in large-scale structured finance deals across commercial property, development, and hotel assets.

They are now looking to appoint a high-calibre Associate Director or Director with a proven track record in originating and structuring complex real estate finance transactions. This is a unique opportunity to lead from the front, access top-tier institutional and private capital, and join a platform where you'll be trusted to run your desk, your way.

The Associate Director– Structured Real Estate Finance - Role:

You'll take the lead on originating, structuring and executing real estate debt and equity transactions across a range of asset classes – including hotels, mixed-use schemes, and commercial developments.

In your first 12–18 months, the focus will be on revenue generation and relationship building. From there, you'll progress into a team-building role with full autonomy to develop and lead your own division.

Associate Director– Structured Real Estate Finance - Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and structure real estate finance transactions (£50m–£100m+)
  • Manage full lifecycle of deals from mandate to close
  • Develop deep relationships with developers, funds, family offices, and institutional investors
  • Advise on optimal capital stack structures – senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, and JV
  • Collaborate closely with internal credit, structuring and execution teams
  • Build a team of junior originators and support staff over time

About You:

  • Extensive experience in real estate finance, capital markets, or debt & equity advisory
  • Track record of closing high-value transactions in the UK property market
  • Deep network of developer, investor, or lender contacts (London/UK focus)
  • Strong technical understanding of capital structuring and funding solutions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to build a high-performing desk/team
  • Based in or able to commute to London
