Mondelez International, a global snacking powerhouse, is seeking a passionate and dedicated QA Team Leader to join our team at Ernest Jackson in Crediton. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop a QA Support Team, maintain and improve Food Safety Plans.

About Ernest Jackson:

Role Overview:
As the QA Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the QA Support Team, EJ HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP Plans, while fostering a strong Food Safety & Quality Culture within the Operations Supply Chain. You will act as a champion for quality, building robust systems that meet legislative, regulatory, customer, and corporate requirements to ensure the safety, quality, and efficacy of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the QA support team, promoting Quality & Food Safety Culture across the Operations Supply Chain
  • Maintain and improve EJ HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP Plan documents and approvals
  • Drive document product release on time in full
  • Assist in QER and CAPA closure
  • Conduct Internal Audits
  • Support the Supply Chain Continuous Improvement journey
  • Contribute to project forums, ensuring Food Safety & Quality compliance
  • Utilise communication skills to support understanding and adherence to compliance

What You Will Bring

  • Experience of Managing a HACCP Plan within a food environment
  • Knowledge of food or medicated product regulations governing the manufacture and distribution of final product
  • Experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience in managing and leading a team
  • Experience in internal auditing
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & interpersonal), the ability to foresee and communicate issues to enable swift resolution
  • A collaborative working style with the ability to build partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Flexibility and open-mindedness - enjoying ambiguity and change
  • MS office applications

Education / Certifications:
HACCP Level 4 is preferred

Job specific requirements:
