Job description

Fusion school services are dedicated to provide exceptional catering services for our students and staff. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated catering assistant to join our teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation of basic dishes, salads, sandwiches and other food items in accordance with health and safety regulations.

  • Providing excellent customer service by serving meals to student and staff, ensuring that food is presented well and is served at the right temperature.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces and disposing of waste properly.

  • Assisting in the stocking and inventory of food supplies.

  • Collaborating with chefs and other team members to ensure that the service runs smoothly and efficiently, helping with any additional tasks as needed.

  • Engaging with students and staff, answering any questions they might have about menu items and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

  • Follow all food safety regulations you ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers.;
  • Carry out duties in accordance with Fusion School Services Limited training;
  • Complete timesheets and work logs as required;
  • Observing general security and safeguarding in line with policy.

Qualifications / experience

· Previous catering experience in a school environment, preferred but not essential.

· Ability to work in a team.

· Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining our standards for our careering service

· Good communication skills and a friendly attitude.
