The Opportunity:

In this varied role your key duties will include preparing and cooking food for breakfast and lunch and dinner service, assisting other chefs during your shift whilst ensuring high quality dishes are served to all of our guests across our hotels.

You will based at The Scholar Hotel and The Scott Hotel, and have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills; ensuring great standards are delivered whilst contributing to the enhancement of our reputation under our University of Edinburgh Hotel collection brand. The majority of this role will be early shifts, so you'll have the evenings to yourself

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Kitchen experience in a hospitality setting.
  • Prepare food for breakfast and lunch to the highest possible standards.
  • Take pride in delivering a memorable breakfast to hotel guests.
  • Ensure that all Health & safety requirements are met whilst on shift to ensure a safe environment is provided and all our legal obligations met.
  • Impeccable standards and an eye for detail.
