Are you passionate about working with young people and wanting to pursue a career in things such as social work, youth work or teaching?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Youth Worker to join our team. As an Assistant Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in your community. This is a rewarding role that requires passion, creativity and the ability to connect with young individuals. All youth centres plan using the Youth Curriculum which gives young people an opportunity to experience a wide range of activities.

Whilst helping shape the lives of young people, you could also shape your own career gaining vital experience and skills.

We are looking for a person who: -

  • is energetic, inspiring and an excellent role model
  • has skills or interests in art, music / DJing, cookery or sport
  • can talk with young people in an open and honest manner
  • can follow instructions and work under the direction of a Project Youth Worker
  • wants to make a local difference by helping children, young people and families
  • is great at talking to people and engaging them in activities and conversations

Working hours:

  • Monday 6.15pm to 8.45pm
  • Tuesday 6.15pm to 8.45pm
