Specifically, we work with national and global food and beverage businesses, which allowed us to:

  • Invest in a new cutting-edge canning and bottling line (and introduce 24/7 shift operations in the Liverpool area)
  • Create +5000 flavours (and supply 1500 of them), produce +40M cans, +15M bottles and create 100s of products using our Turnkey solution
  • Expand onto 2 BRC-certified manufacturing sites (each equaling 35,000 square foot premise)

Job Description

  • To work with the account team in the day-to-day management of key accounts to enable the annual volume, turnover and profit growth targets to be achieved.
  • To provide the necessary support across key admin tasks to enable the customer management process to run effectively.
  • To deliver effective communication internally and externally managing specific requirements of the sales team and their customers that enables the business to develop and grow sales opportunities with new and existing customers

Dimensions

  • Internal contacts –Account Mangers, Commercials team, Marketing, logistics, operations, Technical, Buying and Sales admin
  • External contacts – Buyers, Technical, NPD, Customer base, Supply chains, Operations and Admin support.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Communication with customers and internal colleagues, answering website enquiries including new business requests via email and phone
  • Ensure all sales enquiries are data captured

·       Gather market and customer information.

  • Providing customer quotes and product samples
  • Answering customer queries and resolving internally
  • Provide report breakdowns from Sanderson
  • Complete induction training for new starters within the team on Sanderson and other relevant systems
  • Co-ordinate sales team travel requirements
  • Provide admin support for trade show events
  • Complete sales administration for customers including new line forms, account set up, customer questionnaires
  • Liaise with technical, specification and logistics teams on any queries and documentation requirements including PIFs, QAS, PODs completion
  • Support account managers providing necessary documentation to ensure legal and finance compliance

Knowledge. Skills & Experience

  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent Level 4 or above
  • Sales experience desirable
  • Excellent people skills
  • Excellent IT skills (Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint essential)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good planning & organising skills and ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative
  • Proven ability to meet high demands and changing priorities
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
