We are seeking a proactive and highly organised HR Assistant to join a successful UK team, playing a crucial part in maintaining a smooth and compliant HR function.

You will be the central administrative support to the HR Manager and HR Advisor, providing essential coordination, advice, and guidance across the full employee lifecycle while upholding the company's core values. Key Responsibilities for an HR Assistant

  • Be responsible (alongside the HR team) for all stages of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, induction, accurate payroll administration support, and training coordination.
  • Coordinate all recruitment and onboarding activity across the site, ensuring a positive new starter experience.
  • Act as an approachable contact for staff, responding to employee relations requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential employee records, keeping all administration up to date for future clarity and compliance.
  • Generate necessary reports and KPIs, displaying information in a clear and understandable way to support data-driven decisions.
  • Support the HR Manager and HR Advisor in the implementation of new legislation and changes to existing employment laws.

Key Skills for an HR Assistant

  • CIPD Qualification Level 3 (or Working Towards)
  • Previous experience as an HR Administrator/Coordinator within a HR department
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel.
