Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing various tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of plumbing systems.
- Work on bathroom and kitchen installations, pipework, and general plumbing repairs.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and urgent plumbing issues.
- Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, including materials used and any necessary documentation.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience in domestic plumbing work.
- Strong knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and best practices.
- Full UK driving license (required).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
