Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This role involves designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Plumbing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work meets industry standards and regulations.

Duties

  • Design and implement plumbing systems for new constructions and renovations.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and appliances.
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform installations and repairs.
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform assembly tasks related to plumbing installations.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Assist in heavy lifting during installation processes as required.
  • Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in plumbing engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
  • Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are necessary.
  • Experience in carpentry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of installation duties is required.
