About the Role

We are seeking a Creative Director who can lead the vision, strategy and delivery of podcast and YouTube content at a premium level.

This role sits at the center of storytelling, design and audience insight. Shaping content that is visually distinctive, editorially sharp and strategically aligned with brand and client objectives.

You will guide ideas from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring every asset produced is consistent, thoughtful and crafted to resonate with platform-specific audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership

  • Define and oversee the creative vision for all podcast and YouTube content.
  • Establish the visual and narrative identity for each series, show, or content stream.
  • Lead ideation, concept development, and creative treatments that push the work forward.

Content Development

  • Develop new show formats, storytelling frameworks, scripts, and editorial direction.
  • Ensure all concepts support wider brand goals and adapt seamlessly across platforms.
  • Guide both the visual and audio creative. From thumbnails and set direction to tone and sound design.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all content meets a high standard of craft, consistency and creative integrity.
  • Maintain alignment with the original concept while allowing room for intelligent iteration.
  • Uphold best-practice guidelines for YouTube and podcast content performance.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Clearly communicate creative direction to internal teams, clients and vendors.
  • Present ideas with confidence, explain creative rationale and advocate for the strongest solution.
  • Work closely with marketing, partnerships and audience teams to ensure content is strategically positioned and amplified.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in creative direction and digital content.
  • Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to translate ideas into practical creative roadmaps.
  • Proven leadership capability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of YouTube content strategy: structure, pacing, retention, visual cues, and optimisation.
  • Strong grasp of podcast development including narrative structure, tone and sound design.
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to trends, emerging formats, and evolving client needs.
