Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our client in Reading for a new logo Business Development Manager who can bring demonstrable experience in acquiring new business in the Microsoft data & analytics domain.
This is not an account farming role. You will be expected to explain your experience of developing and closing new logo business for technology solutions (Cloud, Data, Analytics, AI, MSP etc) within the mid-enterprise markets in the UK.
You'll be required to visit the office once a week in Reading.
We're looking for highly motivated sales professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit who are disciplined in sales planning and qualification, are motivated to overachieve set targets, and can lead and close complex deal negotiations.
Strong relationships building skills are essential, both externally with prospective new customers and internally within technical pre-sales and project delivery.
Accountabilities
- You'll join an established business development team, in a business with decades of IT
- You'll be accountable for building and maintaining a strong active business network and pipeline of opportunities.
- You'll be selling to business and technical decision makers; understanding their business priorities and needs, and positioning the value of solutions within that context.
- Become trusted partner and advisor, to be able to influence and shape buying decisions that favour our products and services.
- Lead presentations that demonstrate our capabilities in the Microsoft Data & AI product and services space.
- Working with internal technical stakeholders to define solutions that address client needs, focussing on business value and commercial benefits.
- Work with Microsoft UK teams to drive co-sell campaigns.
You'll be compensated with a competitive salary and OTE, benefits package including pensions scheme, Life Assurance and Private Medical Care, Income Protection etc.
