Are you an experienced carer looking for part-time, rewarding work with the opportunity to travel and make a real difference across the country?

Right at Home Medway — an award-winning, locally owned homecare provider — is looking for a Part-Time Live-in Care Assistant to provide holiday and relief cover for our existing live-in carers.

This is an exciting and varied role for someone who enjoys new experiences, meeting people, and supporting clients in different locations. You'll mainly support clients of Right at Home Medway, but may also work with other Right at Home offices across the UK when required.

All travel expenses are covered, and food expenses are provided.

What You'll Do

Each placement is different, but typical duties may include:

  • Morning and bedtime routines
  • Personal care and medication support
  • Companionship, outings, and appointments
  • Dementia care
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping

When not on a live-in placement, you may have the option to work in local domiciliary care (visiting clients) — a driver's licence and car are required for this. Work as many domiciliary hours as you wish.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous care experience (essential)
  • Live-in care experience preferred, but not required
  • Flexible, caring, and adaptable attitude
  • Confident in the kitchen
  • Right to work in the UK (no CoS available)
  • Updated DBS or willingness to complete one
  • Driver preferred (for domiciliary care work)
  • Must live in the Medway Towns or surrounding areas
  • Willingness to travel anywhere in the UK for placements
