Spire Norwich Hospital is seeking a proactive and motivated Business Administration – Team Lead to join our Business Administration department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for organisation, leadership, and customer service to play a key role in ensuring our administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities:
As the Team Lead, you will:
- Oversee and maintain hospital administrative processes in line with Spire procedures.
- Lead and support the Business Administration team with visible, motivational leadership.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing, cashiering, and financial reconciliations.
- Liaise with internal departments and shared services to resolve billing issues.
- Manage vendor debt and coordinate payment requests, consultant fees, and patient refunds.
- Ensure the department is appropriately staffed and operating effectively.
Who we're looking for:
- Strong numeracy and Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A customer-focused mindset with a concern for high standards.
- Ability to plan, organise, and work collaboratively.
Desirable Experience:
- Accounts payable and purchase ledger experience.
- Basic understanding of financial processes.
