Job Description
We are looking for an office based Payroll Manager to lead UK payroll operations with accuracy and compliance at the forefront. This is a key role ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while maintaining adherence to HMRC regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end UK payroll processing for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, NIC, pensions, and statutory reporting.
- Oversee payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Partner with HR and Finance teams for seamless data integration.
- Keep up to date with UK payroll legislation and implement changes.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing UK payroll in a complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll systems (SAP, Workday, SDWorx or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- CIPP qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of payroll experience.
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
