Our service offers one-to-one support to Children and Young People to maintain a connection with the imprisoned person, support their emotional wellbeing and build resilience to enable them to reach their full potential. The work we do plays a critical role in helping to reduce reoffending rates and improve educational outcomes for children and young people.We are looking for an experienced practitioner confident in working with children, young people and families to join our dynamic, ambitious team. You will need to organised and self-motivated; you will have a passion for improving the outcomes for children and young people and advocate for their rights.As Team Leader, you will hold a caseload as well as line manage a team. You will need to have experience of line-managing and offering casework supervision to staff. You will work collaboratively and maintain a child centred approach You will have experience in working in partnership with families and other agencies setting best practice to support children and young people.You will work one to one in the family home, schools, on-line and other community settings coordinating packages of support. You will need to be flexible and creative in your approach to service delivery to meet the needs of children's individuality whilst maintaining the integrity of the service and its purpose.You will be required to provided presentation talks, training and build networks with other organisations within the county, promoting the service and raising awareness of the impact of familial imprisonment on children and young people.You will need to live within travel distance of Cambridgeshire to enable you to carry out the direct work with Children, Young People and Families.To apply please click on theapply onlinebutton.Closing date for applications: 12pm, Friday 12th December 2025Safeguarding And DBS Requirements For Your RoleOrmiston Families is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
