Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging with patrons to foster a positive environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines.
  • Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly.
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving practices.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and upcoming events to assist guests effectively.
  • Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently throughout all duties.
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and handle any concerns professionally.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customers.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
