Job Summary

We are building a next-generation creative-focused control and monitoring platform with an emphasis on making complex equipment and systems accessible to users of all skill levels.

We are looking for an experienced C#/.Net developer with a focus on back-end server and web technologies to join the team. The role is open to hybrid remote working, candidates should have the ability to commute to the office in London, WC2R 1EA.

Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design
  • Design ASP.NET back-end services and APIs to product requirements.
  • Ensure flexible and maintainable architecture for local and cloud deployments.
  • Design for low-latency environments with an emphasis on realtime data.
  • Core Engineering
  • Build and maintain backend services in a performant and scalable manner.
  • Implement and maintain authentication/authorization to high security standards.
  • Deployment & Operations
  • Architect deployment strategies for local, cloud, on-premise and colo environments.
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for distributed systems.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in technical decision-making and roadmap planning.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in cross-platform C#/.Net software development, primarily in projects using DotNet v5 and above.
  • Experience developing web applications based around ASP.NET Core framework.
  • Experience in development of high-performance/low-latency networking.
  • Solid understanding of Linux environments and DotNet deployments.
  • Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL.
  • Previous experience with ASP.NET identity/authorization/authentication and OIDC.
  • Experience with cloud deployment.

Nice to Have

  • Background in cross-platform desktop or mobile application development in a XAML-based environment (Avalonia/WPF/WinUI) and with MVVM-style GUI applications.
  • Experience in C/C++/Rust development.
  • Experience with in developing high-performance C# code and/or interop with unmanaged libraries.
  • Understanding of PTP synchronisation.
  • Previous experience in job roles related to entertainment technology, real-time graphics or gaming.
  • Understanding of GitHub Actions CI.
