Telemarketer - Part Time (3 days, 6 hours per day)

The Telemarketer Role
Our new Telemarketer will be responsible for researching Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), identifying decision-makers within targeted businesses, and gathering essential information such as business size and best contact details, and booking discovery calls for the prospects with our Business Development Manager. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate through conversations to extract relevant information.
An overview of the tasks/responsibilities of the role can be found below:
· Research Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs): Conduct thorough research to identify and understand the characteristics of the ideal customer for our products/services. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to refine and update Ideal Customer Profiles.
· Identify Decision-Makers: Initiate outbound calls to potential customers and engage in conversations to identify key decision-makers within the organization. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential clients.
· Gather Business Information: Extract relevant information about the size and structure of the targeted businesses. Record accurate and detailed data on potential clients, including their needs, preferences, and any specific requirements.
· Book Discovery Calls: Engage qualified prospects in meaningful conversations to assess their interest and potential fit for our solutions. Confidently introduce the purpose and value of a discovery call with our Business Development Manager (BDM), ensuring prospects understand how the meeting can address their business needs. Coordinate and schedule discovery calls by managing calendars and sending meeting invitations or reminders. Maintain a professional and courteous follow-up process to confirm attendance and handle any rescheduling needs. Ensure all booked calls are accurately recorded in the CRM, including relevant notes and contextual information to support a seamless handover to the BDM.
· Build and Maintain a Database: Create and update a comprehensive database of potential clients, ensuring accuracy and relevance of the information. Utilize CRM tools to manage and organize customer data effectively.

The Ideal Candidate
· Proven experience in telemarketing or a similar outbound calling role.
· Understanding of SaaS businesses and identifying key decision makers.
· Strong research skills with the ability to analyse data and identify key trends.
· Passion for Tech: A genuine passion for technology and the improvements that it can make in the lives of our clients.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate product/service features and benefits.
· Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
· Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in recording and maintaining customer information.
· Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the Sales team to achieve common goals.
· Resilience: Resilience in handling rejection and overcoming challenges encountered during telemarketing activities.
