Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our small kitchen team.

Our ideal candidate will possess a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality, whilst striving to provide the best dining experience all within sociable day time hours.

As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating our menus, managing the kitchen duties, and leading our team within our vibrant restaurant setting.

Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation meets our quality standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff with a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen efficiency.
  • Build on a positive front-of-house relationship to ensure a smooth service delivery.
  • Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques.
  • Excellent team management abilities, with experience in supervising kitchen staff.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities. Creating an inclusive and motivated team atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Salary range dependent on level of experience.
