Team Leader – Supported Living (Leeds)
Please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
About Us
Are you looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? We are a values-driven organisation based in Leeds, committed to supporting adults with learning disabilities & mental health needs. Everything we do is rooted in our principles of inclusion, empowerment, strength, dignity and respect. Our aim is to help the people we support live independent, fulfilling lives while being part of their local community.
We're now looking for an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join our dedicated service. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team that genuinely cares about people and their wellbeing.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support. You'll lead by example, inspiring your team to provide compassionate and consistent care that promotes choice, independence, and personal growth. Your responsibilities will include guiding Support Workers in their day-to-day duties, ensuring care plans are followed, and creating a positive, empowering environment for both staff and service users.
You'll also work directly with service users, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and engage in meaningful community activities. The people we support do not require personal care, allowing you to focus on supporting their mental health and overall wellbeing.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with shifts typically running 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday to Friday, though some weekend & evening work may be required. There are no sleep-ins or waking nights, and we offer free on-site parking for all staff.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification and proven experience in a leadership or senior support role. You'll have a solid understanding of supporting people with mental health needs and learning disabilities, along with the confidence to manage a team in a positive and motivating way.
You'll need to be flexible, reliable and approachable, with great communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals. A driving licence is not required for this role, but you should be comfortable working across different sites when needed.
Why Join Us?
When you join our team, you're not just taking on a job — you're becoming part of a community that values your hard work and dedication. We offer ongoing training and professional development to help you grow in your career, along with a friendly and inclusive working environment where your voice is heard and your efforts are recognised.
We're proud to celebrate our staff through our Employee of the Month scheme, which highlights the outstanding work of team members who go above and beyond. Alongside this, you'll benefit from free on-site parking, regular supervision, and opportunities for progression within a supportive organisation that truly values its people.
Ready to Apply?
If you're an experienced and caring leader who shares our values and wants to make a real difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you.
