Shift pattern 4 x on, 4 x off - (2 x 19.00pm am & 2 x 21.00pm am)

1. Service Delivery: To ensure that the services delivered to residents are of the highest quality, by contributing towards project performance against internal and external requirements.

1.1 To deliver focused sessions and activities and work with residents towards independence, that meets their needs, wishes and aspirations.

1.2 To work creatively and effectively alongside residents to inspire and encourage them to develop their talents as they seek education, employment, volunteering and training opportunities.

1.3 Ensure residents are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community to sustain their journey when they move on.

1.4 Ensure resident's views, aspirations, concerns and ideas are sought so they can play an active role in influencing the services they receive.

1.5 Ensure all records are up-to-date, accurate and compliant detailing the resident's journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes and to monitor service performance.

1.6 Maintain accurate records of resident's progress, challenges and significant incidents.

1.7 To provide case studies and progression reports as required and to timescales.

1.8 Working with partner organisations and signposting to services as appropriate, enabling residents to meet their desired outcomes and aspirations.

1.9 Working closely with the Senior Support Worker: Activities and Learning to promote relevant initiatives and activities and to encourage attendance at such events.

2. Policy, Practice, and Service Development: To follow policies and processes within service delivery practice, and contribute to service improvement.

2.1 Ensure compliance with Association Policy and Procedure at all times.

2.2 To ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and trauma informed practice with residents by observing the Association's safeguarding procedures, respecting professional boundaries to keep everybody safe.

2.3 To assess and monitor the risks presented by residents to ensure they can keep themselves safe and, where possible, continue their development, utilising appropriate systems to monitor and track their progress, ensuring it remains outcome focussed.

2.4 To record all safeguarding concerns, incidents and accidents and share appropriately with the wider team, line manager and if necessary, members of the senior management team.

3 Housing Management: To contribute towards the maintenance and health and safety of Association properties and be compliant with legislation and regulations.

3.1 To coach residents to manage their licence agreement and adhere to accommodation rules, in preparation for independent living.

3.2 To maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for residents and be well informed on significant changes to housing law to help them access all support available to them.

3.3 To deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to accommodation, using restorative practises and working collaboratively with the rest of the team.

3.4 To share in the duty management of the buildings, maintaining and ensuring the health and safety of the site(s) and occupants.

3.5 To respond to enquiries from statutory agencies and be part of the assessment process for new residents being accommodated, ensuring they have clear information on what services the Association offers and their own responsibilities within it.

3.6 To participate in the collection of rental income, including Housing Benefit, Direct Charge and current or former rent arrears by utilising the associated policy and procedures.

3.7 To supervise the admission and departure of residents including responsibility for completion of all associated administration.

3.8 To maintain exemplary community and neighbour relations through effective communication and specifically high-quality incident management.

3.9 To assist and contribute with the joint cleaning and preparation of flats/rooms for occupation.

3.10 To jointly maintain the hygiene of all office and communal areas, reporting repairs, ensuring effective and timely response to all requests made and that all complaints are recorded and progressed.

4. Collaborative Working: To ensure effective collaboration, underpinned by a clear focus on meeting the needs of individuals, taking an outcome focused approach, utilising relevant systems and clear lines of communication, and a shared understanding of roles and responsibilities

4.1 To work as part of a team, to ensure rota cover, and take responsibility for personal safety.

4.2 To be trained and proficient in the application of a range of tools/assessments in order to progress residents support and risk needs and ensure assessments are recorded and updated on the Association's systems and where applicable on commissioners systems.

4.3 To engage in reflective practise sessions, individually and as a team, to assess the effectiveness of interventions and identify areas for personal and professional development.

4.4 To attend and contribute towards monthly team meetings.

4.5 To actively participate in the Association's Performance Management process.

5. Ofsted Standards: For Ofsted registered sites, to adhere to all Ofsted regulations and standards, provide quality and consistency of service and property standards to continually meet the Ofsted regulations, and be part of the preparation for Ofsted inspections.

5.1 Be responsible for ensuring the site and services provided meet the requirements of Ofsted.
