**The Vacancy**

**About the role and the team**

As **Support Worker**, you will work in a team that will set-up and develop our new Supported Lodgings and Step Forward (Floating Support) services, and also work alongside our clients to progress towards independence.

You will manage a small caseload of young people by taking responsibility for their care experience, to prepare for and transition into independent living in their own tenancy.

In addition, you will work closely with the allocated social worker and other government agencies to gain the best possible outcomes for these young people we support.

Please note that upon offer, your job title shall be referred to as **Floating Support Worker**. **The post holder will be working predominantly in Chester and Ellesmere Port.**

**About you**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- A commitment to the ethos and values of Depaul including the organisation’s policies and procedures
- Able to work on own initiative but at same time able to exercise sound judgement in knowing when to consult with peers and clients to meet the service KPI’s
- A clear understanding and ability to implement risk management, information sharing and data security arrangements.
