About the Role: We are looking for a Manufacturing / Yard Operative to join our team at Ruby UK. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our manufacturing and dispatch process, focusing on the production of high-quality entrance gates, fence panels, sheds, planters, and pergolas. You will ensure these products are crafted with precision, thoroughly inspected for quality, and expertly prepared for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Tasks: Carry out assembly, packaging, labeling, and quality inspections following standard operating procedures.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate machinery and tools.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Keep workstations and production areas clean, organised, and safe.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain product quality during manufacturing, performing necessary quality checks.
  • Inventory Support: Assist with material handling, stock replenishment, and inventory counts.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to meet production schedules and resolve issues promptly.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Skill Development: Engage in training opportunities to enhance skills and adapt to evolving production needs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of production activities, downtime, and quality data.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential.
