Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to meet hotel standards.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
  • Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the hotel.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
  • A positive attitude towards customer service and willingness to go the extra mile for guests.
