Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facilities, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. A background in hotel or hospitality services is advantageous, as it equips you with the skills necessary to meet our high standards.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
  • Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Clean and sanitise bathrooms, ensuring all fixtures are spotless.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and common areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with laundry duties when necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques for cleaning and maintenance.
