Location:
Chester Office

Hours:
9.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)

Salary:
Negotiable depending upon experience.

The Firm's successful Family Department is rapidly expanding, with an increase in work levels. This has demanded an increase in staffing levels in our Chester Office.

We have a vacancy for an experienced dynamic Private Law Solicitor.

SOLICITOR
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years PQE, who is ambitious and looking for the opportunity to progress, with a desire to manage. The candidate should have the ability to advise in all aspects of private family law with a strong background in finances (matrimonial and cohabitation) and advocacy.

Panel accreditation is an advantage but not essential as this can be obtained upon employment.

The position will involve travel to courts and other offices therefore the candidate must have a car available for work use.

Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided.

Job role
Duties
Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • Run own private law family caseload
  • Capability of undertaking Private Family work in all areas, with focus on finances
  • Providing support/training to the team as required
  • Supervision of junior team members
  • Networking and business development
