The Victoria Maternity unit was built in 2012, with approximately 3000 births per year.

We are in a position to offer permanent contracts. There are various hours for Health Care Support Workers to work within the maternity care settings.

These care settings primarily include our Consultant led Unit but can be rotational within other areas of care required.

The Consultant Led Unit is a high risk, fast paced birthing unit for women and families of Fife. The candidates will work as part of the multidisciplinary team. This being to provide care to woman and families. This role is labour intensive with significant amount of distance covered within shift.

Duties include some aspects of patient facing clinical work as well as housekeeping, stock replenishment, assistance in fast and efficient turnaround of rooms to aid capacity and flow as well as and cleaning and maintaining infection prevention control standards, as well as preparing light refreshment and hydration for patients.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
