The Role
As a Training Care Practitioner, you'll be at the heart of quality and development within our new Sunderland branch. You'll support, train, and mentor care teams to ensure they deliver exceptional care, while also contributing to audits, compliance, recruitment and service improvement.
This role is ideal for an experienced senior or field-based carer ready to take the next step into leadership, training, and quality practice.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality training and development for Care Assistants
- Support with vital recruitment processes to drive the business forward
- Conduct spot checks, observations, and supervisions to ensure best practice
- Support the branch team with auditing, compliance, and quality assurance
- Carry out risk assessments and review care plans in collaboration with clients and families
- Contribute to core monitoring and continuous improvement processes
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or supported living (senior / trainer level desirable)
- Strong knowledge of care standards, compliance, and CQC regulations
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Confidence delivering training and mentoring staff
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise, and maintain quality under pressure
- A driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
- Eligible to work in the UK, we hold a sponsor licence, but sponsorship cannot be guaranteed
