Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate Chef De Partie to join our small kitchen team at Knole Park Golf Club, Sevenoaks in the wonderful surroundings of a historic deer park.
The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and a commitment to food safety and quality. As Chef De Partie, you will hold responsibility, under the guidance of our Head Chef, for all aspects of food production and preparation, ensuring that our members & guests receive a first-class dining experience.
You will be working a minimum of 35 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays. As a Chef De Partie, you must be capable of working efficiently within a team and individually, looking after all aspects of the kitchen and ensure the day-to-day catering operations run smoothly. You will have appropriate catering qualifications and at least 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
Duties
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Oversee food preparation processes to guarantee quality and presentation.
- Assist the Head Chef in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Collaborate with clubhouse staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Assist the Head Chef to implement improvements as necessary.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food production and preparation techniques.
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food service.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and clubhouse staff.
