THE OPPORTUNITY
To support our ambitions at SBD, we are seeking a Quality Inspector to further support the Belts QC team in manufacturing market-leading strength products. Will be able to work as part of a team or autonomously and to contribute to cross-departmental collaborations. Your personality is important and finding a good cultural fit who can add value, is high on our agenda when it comes to recruitment.
Quality Inspector roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Completing all tasks assigned by management, ensuring all products are of high quality and are in line with safety processes and procedures
- Advising operational teams and colleagues on product standards and specifications
- Trimming and making amendments to items as and when needed
- Identifying and eliminating any quality problems to ensure that all requirements are met, which will include supporting with internal audits
- Ensuring that the external customers' products are to the required standard with no errors and full traceability
- Minimising and preventing the loss of sales and profit due to product recall
- Complete daily assessments of products from each production run and then communicate the results and actions of these panels to the manager, team leaders and/or appropriate worker
- As well as the above, you will have the ability to flexibly support all areas of the business where required, to ensure that service levels are consistently met.
THE SKILLS

Early finish on a Friday - this role finishes at 1pm on a Friday
HOURS: 40 hours per week (Monday - Thursday: 7am-4pm, Friday: 7am - 1pm)
SALARY: £25, 396.80
LOCATION: Unit 2b Lanchester Way, Advanced Manufacturing Park, Waverley, S60 5FX
