SCREEN PRINT OPERATOR

Are you a passionate and motivated Screen Print Operator who would like to help with the production of garments and market-leading performance supports for strength sports and powerlifting? Screen Print Operator roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operating automatic screen-printing carousels
• Produce films and create screens for printing
• Accurately mix a variety of inks using specialised pigments
• Reclaiming used screens and maintaining the pre-press area
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the printing equipment
• Perform equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Handling day-to-day print operations and working to a schedule

THE SKILLS

We encourage you to apply if you are someone who can demonstrate the following:

Essential

• Hands-on experience working within a commercial screen-printing business, with a strong operational knowledge of automatic screen-printing carousels and related equipment.
• Experience in printing complex, multi-coloured jobs, possessing a keen eye for precise registration, colour accuracy, and quality control from the first print to the last.
• You must be a dependable professional with a proven track record of consistently meeting tight production deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality.
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable using basic IT systems for tasks such as logging job details, managing workflow, or performing other essential data entry as required.
• A proactive and solution-oriented individual who uses their own initiative to identify and suggest opportunities for improvement.
• Possesses a strong, dependable work ethic, with excellent punctuality and the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines.
• A resilient and calm individual who can work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills, who is also a quick learner capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Desirable

• Previous experience with dye sublimation techniques and equipment would be a significant advantage, showcasing your versatility and broader knowledge of garment printing.
• Real-time, practical experience working in a pre-press environment. This includes creating high-quality screens from scratch, from film output and coating to exposure and final washout.

SALARY: £25, 916.80

HOURS: 40 hours per week (Monday - Thursday: 7am-4pm, Friday: 7am - 1pm)

LOCATION: Unit 2b Lanchester Way, Advanced Manufacturing Park, Waverley, S60 5FX
