Senior Helpdesk Administrator

6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Parkside Recruitment is supporting a leading technology organisation in their search for an experienced Senior Helpdesk Administrator to join their busy service team based in Milton Keynes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong coordination and customer support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting field-based technical teams.

Key Details


• Up to £30k per annum depending on experience


• Fixed term contract – 6 months


• Immediate start or as soon as available


• Office-based initially, hybrid offered after successful probation


• 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern:

Week 1: 08:00 – 16:00

Week 2: 09:00 – 17:00

Key Responsibilities


• Act as first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email


• Log all support requests accurately into internal systems


• Plan and coordinate engineer routes and workloads in line with SLAs


• Support engineer and parts dispatch teams to ensure timely service delivery


• Confirm job completion details and communicate updates to customers


• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Care Centre team


• Maintain strong organisational skills and time management


• Demonstrate effective geographical knowledge across the UK and Northern Ireland

• Undergo full employment referencing for the past 10 years with no gaps


• Complete background checks including credit and criminal history

(Candidates with CCJs, IVAs, bankruptcy or criminal records cannot be considered)


• Be prepared for a detailed screening process that can take approximately 4 weeks


• Provide any requested documentation promptly to avoid delays
