Payroll Administrator

Our Payroll team is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join and support the efficient daily running and management of the entire payroll service at Harrods.
About the Role
As the Payroll Administrator, you will provide an essential support to our Payroll Technicians so that payroll runs on time and to its most efficient level every month. The team manage payroll for each colleague within Harrods, which means the role will be very busy and requires multitasking at every stage. You will be responsible for resolving payroll related queries raised by colleagues and managers through Workday or the payroll inbox.
You will have the opportunity to be part of regular HR and Finance team meetings, support the business with payroll related questions, and work directly with stakeholders across the business. You will take ownership of running the monthly checklist to ensure all aspects of the payroll is completed; support in creation of P45 and submitting the EPS and FPS data into the HMRC system along with carrying out interface testing and amendments.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as 'Hybrid'. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs. About You
You must have prior experience in a similar role. You will be able to confidently work to deadlines and be proud to hold accountability for certain parts of the payroll process.
You will also –
- Have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Have great organisation and time keeping skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have experience using Resourcelink and Workday (desirable)
- Be fluent in using Excel and other MS-Office softwares
- Be adaptable and flexible to the different elements of the role
- Enjoy working with others in a team where each step is part of the bigger picture
