As our Internal Communications Manager, you'll be at the heart of how we engage our Road Operations team, helping to shape and deliver the internal communications strategy, with a focus on our frontline colleagues. You'll work closely with leaders to ensure our people are informed, inspired, and engaged on our business priorities.

This is a strategic and operational role, where you'll lead storytelling, comms planning and delivery, and measurement, bringing our vision to life across a diverse and mobile workforce.

• Owning the development and delivery of internal communications plans aligned to AA's strategic goals
• Advising stakeholders and leadership teams on communication best practices
• Translating business priorities into compelling narratives for frontline colleagues
• Planning and delivering high-impact campaigns and events (e.g. AA Awards, roadshows, leadership events)
• Measuring communication effectiveness and identifying opportunities to improve engagement
• Collaborating with wider teams to ensure consistency and alignment

• Experience in delivering communications for large, dispersed teams
• Passion for connecting people to purpose and driving cultural alignment, with strong understanding of audience segmentation and channel strategy
• Proven experience in strategic internal communications, ideally in operational, retail, or field-based environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience advising senior leaders
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability, with a focus on clarity and impact
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience engaging remote and frontline colleagues
• Proficiency with tools like Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Poppulo, and Stream
