We are now seeking a part-time experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at our Gower Street site in Farnworth, Bolton.

Hours are 5 days / 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase invoices and match them to purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
  • Support month-end processes.
  • Enter financial data into accounting software Sage.
  • Handle expense claims.
  • File financial documents and maintain organised digital/physical records.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks and reports.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting support.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software Sage.
  • Strong numerical and data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.91 per hour
