Our Clients are a leading Hertfordshire Flooring retailer and Soft Contractor with an enviable reputation and a growing client base on their Commercial and New Build Residential division.

They are seeking an experienced Flooring professional to run their Customer Service Operation and who can get involved on all aspects of the Installs and Snagging etc post installation.

Our Clients are particularly interested in speaking to Flooring Fitters or ex Fitters that have a wealth of experience on domestic / residential fitting who can use their skills and knowledge to offer excellent back up and Customer Service to their clients who may be Large Construction firms a or Private Individuals.

The duties of the role are varied but will include the following:
  • taking the customer enquires and dealing with any queries or questions post install.
  • pricing the works up.
  • inspecting the works as they go and in event of any follow ups required by customers.
  • booking the inspection at a mutually convenient time and date.
  • arranging replacement Flooring as required.
You will therefore be able to offer the following skills:
  • A great all round knowledge of Flooring and its installation.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills (written and Verbal).
  • Well organised with a thorough eye for detail.
  • Capable as required of measures and estimates.
  • Fitting and Repair Skills.
The role we believe would suit a Flooring Fitter / Layer or someone from a similar Customer Service background within a Flooring Retailer or Soft Contractors.

In Return our clients offer a negotiable salary in the Range £28-35k but are open to negotiation to a higher level if you have Fitting Experience that could be utilised too.
