The Senior Estimator will be responsible for pricing new works as allocated to them by the Estimating Manager. Will have an in-depth understanding of the business strategy and company vision. The primary purpose is to support the Estimating Manager in achieving its short, medium and longer-term commercial goals and objectives, through the delivery of best-in-class estimating policies and practices, whilst maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, quality, and environmental impact that adhere to the Company's Values.

The Senior Estimator is responsible for supporting the appropriate KPI's relevant to the estimating team's work.Supporting the Estimating Manager and colleagues to ensure that day-to-day estimating processes run smoothly.

Responsible For

  • Responsible to the Estimating Manager
  • Assisting the Estimating Manager in managing workload
  • Assist in managing / developing other Estimators, Assistants and Trainees
  • Attend project start up meetings and site visits
  • Produce detailed tenders and maintain up-to-date pricing references
  • Manage the Trainee Estimator and Assistant Estimator to carry these out effectively.
  • Able to perform to agreed KPIs.
  • Evaluate returned quotations from suppliers and subcontractors/manage the Trainee Estimator and Assistant Estimator to carry these out effectively.
  • Prepare subcontract packages and / or manage the Trainee Estimator and Assistant Estimator to carry these out effectively.
