An Independent school in Brent requires a dedicated Computing Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, part-time position. The right Computing Teacher will deliver engaging computing lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We need someone to start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Computing Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
  • Prepare students for upcoming assessments.
  • Develop students' computational thinking and programming skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of computing resources.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computing.
  • Proven experience teaching computing at secondary level.
  • Strong programming skills and knowledge of computer science concepts.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Availability to start ASAP on a part-time basis.
