The Product Manager – Esports World Cup (EWC) supports the development, implementation, and evolution of the overall EWC product. The Product Manager works closely with cross-functional teams including Tournament Management, Game Product, Player Management, Marketing, Broadcast, Project, Operations and Creative to ensure each element of EWC is aligned with the overall product direction and objectives.
This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the world's largest esports event ecosystem, helping to define how the EWC product grows, scales, and delivers a consistent, world-class experience across all touchpoints. This role requires a mix of operational excellence, creative problem solving, and strategic oversight.
The ideal candidate will be based in the CET time zone (+/- 1 hour)
What You'll Do:
- Support the team lead in defining and implementing EWC product strategies across all verticals (Tournament, Road to EWC, Club Championship, etc.).
- Focus point to drive various product features aimed to increase viewers and attendees satisfaction
- Translate strategic objectives into operational plans with defined milestones.
- Align product plans with publisher partners, internal stakeholders, and EWCF representatives to ensure consistency and buy-in.
- Contribute to defining product improvements, assessing data and feedback from EWC tournaments, and formulating refinements for subsequent seasons.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing documents to support internal communication and external partner alignment.
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, or esports operations (preferably within major event ecosystems or game publishers).
- Practical learnings from in-person attendance of major esports events and various esports broadcasts consumption
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills with experience interfacing with both internal leadership and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; able to convert complex data or qualitative feedback into clear recommendations.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Monday, or other product tracking platforms.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work extended hours during live events.
