Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
Maintenance Technician. We are working with an highly established multi-site manufacturing company in Northamptonshire. This is working in a non food environment on days only, so may suit a maintenance technician with a electrical bias from that industry who would like a change. This role requires an enthusiastic Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work in all aspects of maintenance, predominantly on autonomous, preventive maintenance programs and breakdowns.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer duties:
- To work in a flexible manner to achieve maximum productivity throughout the shift, liaising with the Shift Supervisor to resolve problem areas.
- Work in a team to deliver sustainable preventative maintenance and reactive and efficient breakdown service on operational equipment.
- Reactive to breakdowns as required by shift team leader.
- To complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant work procedures.
- Communicating all relevant information to the engineering team leaders.
- Work with 6's practices and procedures in mind. To ensure that the work area is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- To work as part of a team and using your own initiative in both planned and emergency breakdown situations.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer skill set required:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer
- Ideally have experience within heavy industry, but not essential.
Hours of Work: Weekly rotating shifts. 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.
